dust sensor lx100

LX100 MKII what about the "dust on the sensor" issue ...

24/08/2018· Does anyone have an idea of what percentage of, say, one year and older, LX100's had dust on the sensor? I feel that a lot didn't because many people say how happy they are with the camera but a fair number, a significant number say that in 6 or 12 months, the dust on the sensor kind of ruined the LX100 for them. I'm sure it ruined the resale of the camera too. Cathy H. cathyph1's gear list ...

Dust issue on the Ricoh GR : how bad is it

18/02/2016· Additionally, it is worth mentioning that I got this issue on other cameras (Only after a few weeks on the Panasonic LX100 and much, much worse). I was also surprised to have this issue on my Olympus EM-1 since Olympus bodies are supposed to have a system preventing dust and debris from settling on the sensor (NEVER had dust issues on my Olympus E1 and E3 by the way). Based on …

[LX100] Question regarding spot on all pics (99% sure not ...

It's an LX100 so I am like 99% sure it's not dust (unless something broke inside?). There's also no marks on the lens (I've cleaned it like 100 times just now). Here's three pics at f/, f/4, f/11 and you can see it get clearer and clearer as I stop down. Thoughts on what this is? Anyone had marks appear like this on their pics. I'm afraid it's something with the sensor. Thanks! Edit ...

Panasonic Lumix LX100 review | Stuff

07/02/2015· The LX100 has a wide ISO range (200 to 25600, with 100 available as “extended ISO”), large aperture (f/ at the widest end of its Leica lens’ zoom range, f/ at the tightest) and, for a compact camera, a large image sensor: its 12MP MOS is Micro 4/3 size, making it the same size (physically) as the sensors in high-end lens-swappers such as the Panasonic Lumix GH4 or Olympus …

Panasonic Lumix LX100 II review | Cameralabs

07/01/2019· So while neither Ken nor I experienced dust issues when testing the LX100 II for several weeks, only time will tell if it’s any better-equipped to deal with it than its predecessor. I’ll report back as and when I have more details or discoveries. The Lumix LX100 II feels more compact than the PowerShot G1X Mark III. They’re both the same width and the Lumix LX100 III’s lens sticks out ...

point and shoot - Dust on the sensor vs. in the lens ...

06/05/2021· I have an old, used Panasonic LX100 (Point and Shoot) that I plan to use as my main all-use video camera. I just started noticing that dust spots are visible in the image on apertures larger than about 4, and they become sharper as aperture is increased. I have a couple of questions. First of all, would this indicate that the dust is on one of the lens elements, on the sensor, or either ...

Clean dust off a panasonic lx100 camera | McCartney's Musings

Clean dust off a panasonic lx100 camera. Post author By admin; Post date December 24, 2016; The LX 100 camera is great compact 4/3 sensor camera. But it is prone to dust on the sensor which is likely pulled in by suction as it telescopes out. Taking the camera apart is a chore, but I’ve read someone using a vacuum to apply suction to the lens assembly to pull out dust. Didn’t think much ...
