If it is not within spec replace the sensor. And as stated earlier depends on your emissions rating, pins number three or number number will be the power supply. With the key on engine off you should see battery voltage to one of those pins. Let us know how your test goes and if you had to replace the oxygen sensor on the catalytic converter.

You can get a reading while driving at any speed or the engine idling. Resetting the oil service interval and after that you getting a good oil level reading is coincidental.
